The challenge

Our client needed an application to connect drivers with their carriers. A tool for for the drivers to create and maintain an easily verifiable CDL file. And an ability for the carriers to post their jobs, hire new drivers on- demand and buy monthly/quarterly/yearly membership packages.An Admin dashboard needed to be created so that the users and content could be managed. They also needed the ability to add sales agents and view their earnings on a month by month basis.

Process & Technology

We started with a client audit, research of the industry and started talking about general functionalities. Our design team created a basic mockup with the client once approved we were ready to start planning the basic system architecture. Technologies and frameworks that we used included: C# .NetCore, ReactJS, MaterialUI. The application is hosted on AWS (Amazon Web Services) and managed daily by our DevOps team.What we did:- Product Consulting- UI/UX Design- System Architecture- Development- Dev-Ops

The outcome

We learned a lot about the difficulties that carriers and drivers had during the job finding and employment process, so we made it much easier for them to connect and communicate their needs.

This application is now being used in the USA only but it will be going internationally soon. It saves time massively for both carriers and drivers.
