Senior Software Developer

Job Location: Novi Sad

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer with strong problem solving abilities, leadership, and application architecture skills. The development work will primarily focus on web application development. Aside from hands-on development, this position will work collaboratively with the technical team on technical strategy and design.

Responsibilities: 

• Effectively serve as a member of Agile/Scrum software development team.

• Translate designs and requirements into high quality code.

• Build and organize development workflows to optimize code delivery and efficiency.

• Work collaboratively with the technical team on application architecture strategy.

• Write technical specification documents.

• Participate in code and design reviews.

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of JavaScript and commonly used libraries (ReactJS is a must). TypeScript preferable.

• Hands-on REST API development using Node.js (GraphQL preferable).

• Experience working with NoSql databases (DynamoDB preferable).

• Knowledge of AWS technologies like API Gateway, Lambda, S3, etc.

• Proficient understanding of code versioning systems, such as GIT.

• Unit Testing experience, preferably Jest.

• Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical business issues and technical problems.

• An undergraduate degree (BA/BS) from an accredited university in Computer Science, Information Technology or a computer related field, or equivalent work experience.

• The candidate should possess a minimum 6 years of web application development experience.

• Excellent communication skills.

Bonus:

• Exposure to Serverless Framework.

• AWS Certified Developer - Associate or plus.

Test Automation Engineer

Job Location: Novi Sad

The primary focus of the Test Automation Engineer will be the set-up and maintenance of test automation frameworks and scripts for various applications, systems, and services. The role is responsible for applying industry best practices while executing various types of QA and testing activities including functional, automated and performance testing.

Responsibilities: 

• Review requirements to define test cases for complex software projects.

• Develop strategic test plans and review with cross functional team members.

• Define and develop automated test scripts.

• Maintain existing test automation frameworks and test suites to ensure they are optimized and effective.

• Work with QA team to organize testing strategies and prioritize responsibilities.

• Perform appropriate testing to discover and report software defects and triage defects.

• Work with developers to troubleshoot software issues.

• Works closely with development, product management, and technical support to ensure that the quality objectives of all projects are met within schedule constraints.

• Provide testing metrics and reports for the QA dashboard to effectively communicate test status to the test team and management.

• Log and track issues using in a defect tracking system.

Requirements:

• Test automation experience (Selenium a plus).

• Experience in JAVA and OOP Concepts.

• Self starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Strong QA methodology and process experience.

• Experience with structured test methodologies.

• Previous experience as QA Analyst for a large consumer website or enterprise application.

• Experience with working in an Agile development environment.

• Website development experience a plus.

• Experience with Jira a plus.

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
